We established The Knitting Nest to give local yarn lovers a place where they belong. Reflecting those priorities, a large portion of our very small store is devoted to seating. We love to have people just gather and visit with friends and, more importantly, make new friends. Please come by for a visit and stay awhile! Knitting is not required. You can crochet, or spin, or work on just about any project that's easy to carry along. You are also welcome to come and just hang out. An especially good time to visit us is from 7-9 pm on Thursdays for Open Stitch Night!

Of course, hanging out with friends won't pay the rent so we also have yarn, needles, hooks, and notions for sale. Please visit our Products page to see our ever expanding list of products. You may discover some items that you won't find in other places. So please come by soon to check things out, or just to introduce yourself. We'd love to meet you!
